Material Handler

Job Summary

The Material Handler is a critical role within the Logistics team at Rich Products Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods and materials.
• Inspect and verify deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Enter necessary documentation into the company's computer system.
• Organize and rotate stock to ensure efficient use of space.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory balances through physical cycle counts.
• Label and stage packaging and ingredients as needed.
• Perform other warehouse and freezer duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• One year or more material handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Regularly stand, reach, bend, and move about the facility.
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception required.
• Meet manufacturing facility safety requirements.
