At Carle Foundation Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Associate to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive comprehensive services and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in patient assessments and develop goal-directed treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Provide complete services to patients, including therapeutic interventions and support.
- Accurately document activities and interventions in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Work with patients who present dual problems, such as Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.
- Participate in interdisciplinary clinical staffing and provide pertinent information to the team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Addiction, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Certified Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification from the Illinois Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Professional Certification Association.
- Ability to work with patients who present a range of behavioral health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic milieu.
