Job Summary

Bozeman Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist - Inpatient to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Review and Verification: Perform clinical review and verification of provider orders to ensure accurate and safe medication administration.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee inpatient pharmacy activities, including processing medication orders and monitoring workflow activity to maintain timely medication services.
  • Drug Information and Education: Provide drug information to providers, nurses, and other ancillary personnel, promoting strong interdisciplinary communication and attending interdisciplinary rounds.
  • Medication Safety and Quality: Actively contribute to medication safety and quality initiatives, reporting adverse events and good catches, and identifying areas of improvement for patient care.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor and other members of the pharmacy leadership team to maintain optimal pharmacy practice and promote continuous growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy
  • Licensure: Montana Licensure (Pharmacist) or eligible to obtain licensure upon hire
  • Certifications: American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required within one year of hire
  • Experience: PGY1 residency or equivalent experience preferred
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds; extended hours, flexible schedule, and on-call availability
  • Exposures: Bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
