Job Overview:

The In-Home Assistant to the Chairman is responsible for providing companionship and support in daily living activities. This role involves managing various household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, light cleaning, and bed making. The position includes access to a private bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room within the Chairman's residence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Home Care Support: Ensure the Chairman's comfort and well-being by assisting with basic home care needs.
  • Companionship: Offer companionship and assist with the Chairman's daily activities.
  • Household Management: Perform light household duties, including meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning (not to exceed 20% of total work time).
  • Healthcare Assistance: Assist with healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs, under the guidance of a registered nurse.
  • Technology Support: Help with Zoom connectivity and other technology-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of prior in-home care experience is required.
  • Skills: Strong service orientation with excellent communication, active listening, and critical thinking skills.
  • Professionalism: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Personal Qualities: Warm, engaging demeanor with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including six days a week with one day off.
  • Living Arrangement: Commitment to a live-in arrangement with separate accommodations provided.
  • Meal Preparation: Plan, shop for, and prepare nutritious meals.
