Job Responsibilities

As a Patient Scheduling Specialist at Epic Government, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments in accordance with DHA business policies and procedures.
  • Verifying beneficiary eligibility and updating patient demographic information.
  • Completing outbound calls to facilitate the timely scheduling of specialty appointments.
  • Processing secure message service transmittal requests.
  • Working closely with our team to ensure that beneficiaries receive timely access to healthcare services.

You will also be responsible for communicating effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. This may include responding to phone calls, emails, or letters from patients, as well as providing information about our healthcare services and policies.

The salary for this position is $24-$28 per hour, with additional benefits including paid time off, holidays, sick leave, and health insurance.
