We are seeking a motivated individual with a customer-centric approach to take on the role of Sales Associate.
As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience. Your genuine enthusiasm for our products will create an inviting atmosphere that encourages customers to explore and engage with our offerings. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Leader and Team Leader, Sales, your daily responsibilities will include achieving sales targets, becoming knowledgeable about our product range, assisting customers with inquiries, and maintaining an organized and welcoming sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability by utilizing effective selling techniques, teamwork, and exceptional customer service to provide an engaging experience for every customer.
- Uphold company standards in sales practices, customer service, visual merchandising, and collaboration.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of all products and stay informed about the latest updates and information.
- Keep abreast of product details, internal communications, and current marketing initiatives.
- Ensure adequate coverage on the sales floor and adhere to scheduled area assignments.
- Maintain store displays and assist with overall store upkeep as directed by management.
- Actively engage with customers, assisting them in product selection and processing orders or returns.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and enthusiasm towards the role and the company, providing excellent service to both customers and colleagues.
- Relay customer feedback to management regarding policies, product requests, and suggestions.
- Support the achievement of store sales and service objectives as outlined by leadership.
- Contribute to initiatives across all business channels to maximize sales growth and profitability.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; assistance is available for heavier items.
- For Full-Time positions: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- For Part-Time positions: Availability to work on weekends and at least one weekday or evening.
