About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Storage Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies for our cloud storage services, working closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive revenue growth and adoption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cloud storage services, including product positioning, pricing, and packaging.
  • Work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in cloud storage, sales, or consulting.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in storage infrastructure solutions and cloud storage services/technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with opensource software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong databased storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • An Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
