Job Title: Surgical Tech Position

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Tech to join our team at Emerald Health Services. As a Surgical Tech, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with a 4x10hr shift schedule, 7a-5:30p, with call required. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience and hold a BLS certification. Electronic documentation is preferred, and community hospital experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery
  • Document patient information and surgical procedures
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
  • BLS certification
  • Electronic documentation skills
  • Community hospital experience preferred
