The Radiologic Technologist plays a vital role in producing high-quality images for medical interpretation. To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Additionally, you should be able to maintain accurate radiographic positioning and exposure techniques, while adhering to radiation protection and safety guidelines.

As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering contrast media and medications, in accordance with state and federal regulations. You must also demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills, remaining sensitive to the physical, cultural, and emotional needs of patients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a post-high school diploma in radiologic technology and relevant experience. Certification and licensure are also required, with RT(R) (ARRT) or ARRT eligibility being a must. BLS certification is also necessary.
