Job Summary:

The Radiology Technologist Leader is responsible for performing X-Ray scans of patient#39;s internal anatomy to aid physicians in diagnosing illnesses, diseases, or injuries. This role executes radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and provides consultation advice to patients and radiology professionals. The Radiology Technologist Leader delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Additionally, this role assists department management with administrative and leadership duties as assigned, including quality assurance, training, scheduling, and mentoring staff radiology technologists, and may act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the regular supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-Ray scans of patient#39;s internal anatomy to aid physicians in diagnosing illnesses, diseases, or injuries.
  • Execute radiologic services in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Provide consultation advice to patients and radiology professionals.
  • Deliver patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Assist department management with administrative and leadership duties as assigned.
  • Mentor staff radiology technologists and act in a supervisory capacity as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Registration and continued certification through the ARRT.
  • 3+ years#39; experience preferred.
