Advanced Healthcare Provider, Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional to provide comprehensive health assessments and deliver advanced medical care in patients' homes.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside a medical technician to diagnose and treat complex illnesses, perform minor procedures, and ensure continuity of care through effective follow-up. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care within an innovative healthcare delivery model.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
- Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
- Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters and ensure accuracy
- Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange appropriate follow-up for patients
- Educate patients and families on how to treat acute illnesses and manage their health and well-being
- Effectively navigate difficult conversations related to end-of-life issues and goals of care
- Communicate effectively with patients, family, primary care providers, and other individuals involved in patient care

Requirements- Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in the Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Hospital, Family Practice, Cardiac, Pulmonary, or other relevant areas
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment
- Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends required
- Estimated salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
