Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Core-Mark, a leading provider of fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry. As a Truck Driver, you will play a critical role in delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to ensure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Immediately report all safety hazards and inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
  • Complete all required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible fashion.
  • Unload products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas, and perform damage control checks on items.
  • Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures, collect money (cash or checks) where required, and ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
Requirements
  • 6+ months commercial driving experience
  • 6+ months foodservice distribution industry experience
  • Valid CDL-A
  • Must be 21+ years of age
