Job Summary

Linde is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a local route delivery vehicle to deliver compressed gas cylinders and associated products to customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service while delivering products, including unloading and reloading cylinders
  • Drive a local route delivery vehicle, with approximately 30% of the day spent driving and the remaining portion spent on delivery, cylinder handling, shipping orders, customer contact, and vehicle inspections
  • Accurately count and record quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up
  • Complete hazardous material shipping orders and papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations
  • Placard vehicle according to required hazardous material regulations and Linde standards
  • Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Identify and report vehicle repairs and maintenance needs
  • Operate a variety of equipment
  • Regularly interface with internal and external customers
Qualifications
  • 2 years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training school
  • No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
  • No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
  • A current medical examiner's certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Valid class A or B CDL
  • Current Hazmat on CDL or ability to obtain Hazmat within 60 days of hire
  • Read and write in English
  • High School G.E.D. or equivalent
  • 21 years or older
