Job Summary

Adecco US, Inc. is currently assisting a well-known National Pharmaceutical client in recruiting for an onsite Pharmacist in Portsmouth, RI. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Must possess an active Pharmacist License for the state of Rhode Island
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in good standing
  • Proficient in the area of clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions and allergies
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Perform accurately and efficiently when dispensing prescription medications
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable about long term care regulations (OBRA, OSHA, state laws and other federal laws) that have an impact upon both pharmacy and Center operations

Pay Details

The wage for this position is between $82 and $84 Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

The pharmacist provides routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. Management skills and accuracy are required to ensure that the appropriate drug product reaches the customer efficiently and safely.

Meet/exceed site budgets.

Leverage operating policies, procedures and process to ensure operational excellence.

Optimize cost management in line with script counts.

Evaluate the overall results of operations; regularly and systematically report the results to the GM and/or VPO.

Ensure that all organization activities and operations are executed in compliance with state and/or federal regulations and laws governing financial and pharmacy operations.
