Job Summary

The Pioneers Center serves as a short-term emergency shelter for kids aged 12-18 who require a safe living arrangement. Our team provides crisis stabilization, basic center services, and support to prevent youth from being placed outside the home.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain safety and supervision of youth
  • Provide transportation to and from school, appointments, activities, or visits
  • Complete daily documentation of youth in care
  • Engage youth in life skills, educational activities, and outings
  • Build relationships with youth and provide support
  • Provide leadership during crisis intervention and structure for youth
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience working with youth and families preferred
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
