Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg, IN. As a Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes, adjusting recipes as necessary to meet residents' nutritional and age-specific needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes
  • Adjust recipes as appropriate to meet residents' nutritional and age-specific needs
  • Work with your team to ensure the kitchen is ready for scheduled serving times
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to prevent foodborne illness
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Preferably, 1 year of experience in the foodservice industry
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • A desire to help people and work with a team to make it happen
