- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or eligibility for state board certification
- Possession of BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course
- Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified
