Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Precision Assembly Technician to become part of our dynamic technology team at Celera Motion. Our precision motion control products are essential for technology-driven medical and advanced manufacturing original equipment manufacturers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and adhere to work instructions, BOMs, and assembly schematics.
- Manage order fulfillment and daily production scheduling.
- Ensure that calibrated tools are maintained and up to date.
- Safely and effectively utilize hand tools for mechanical assembly, ensuring quality and output standards are met.
- Perform soldering of cables, wires, and through-hole devices while adhering to quality specifications.
- Conduct product inspections and accurately identify non-conformances.
- Operate pass/fail test equipment (e.g., ALTF, PD Test) effectively.
- Collaborate with the Team Lead to identify root causes of assembly process issues and suggest process improvements.
- Participate in 5S initiatives and daily inventory counts.
- Understand and interpret test results and basic failure modes.
- Execute rework as necessary and maintain cleanliness of the workstation according to 5S standards.
- Follow site protocols for the disposal of recyclable materials and hazardous waste.

Qualifications
- Proven ability to multitask and a willingness to learn various assembly requirements.
- Previous experience with opto-electronics and PCB components.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong teamwork skills along with proficiency in computer, written, and verbal communication.
- Basic understanding of ESD and 5S principles, along with safety and chemical awareness.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
