About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our Food Service department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service to our residents, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food in accordance with sanitary regulations and therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Assist in the general operations of the Food Service department, including tray assembly, food preparation, and cleaning schedules.
  • Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards while preparing and serving food.
  • Deliver and retrieve resident trays, and receive soiled trays for cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Knowledge of various diets and patient restrictions, with the ability to serve trays accordingly.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in Food Service is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
