Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in procedures and maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
  • Manage stock and supplies, ensuring timely rotation and documentation of medications and equipment.
  • Collect and process blood and/or samples, adhering to sterile techniques and proper documentation.
  • Administer medications as ordered and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Provide leadership and support to ancillary nursing and patient care teams.
  • Contribute to cost-effective use of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation, including vital signs, allergies, and complaints.
  • Case manage patients with wound care under the supervision of an RN.
  • Apply dressings as ordered by physicians.
Requirements
  • Current Florida LPN licensure.
  • AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in stressful environments and assess patient data quickly.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of biohazardous waste, MSDA substances, and unknown diseases.
Physical Requirements
  • Medium work involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to move patients and equipment with or without assistance.
  • Exposure to varied temperatures, air quality, and noise levels.
  • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks.
