Job Summary:
CrossMed - Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team as a travel specialist. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist
- Graduate from an accredited school of medical technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, push, bend, and pull
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
