Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 to $25.00, based on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:

Job Responsibilities
As a Construction Crew Member, you will be responsible for:
- Learning and Applying Safety Procedures: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to Morton Buildings' safety protocols and standards
- Reading and Building According to Plans: Understand and execute construction plans to ensure high-quality results
- Utilizing Tools and Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate various tools and equipment to construct buildings
- Executing Tasks: Perform tasks such as digging and installing footings, framing walls and roof structures, installing windows and doors, and finishing with metal and wood trims
- Collaborating with Crew Personnel: Work effectively with other crew members in a safe, organized, and productive work environment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Building Construction Experience: Preferably in post-frame construction, carpentry, or framing
- Willingness to Participate in Training: Complete a training program to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Valid Driver's License: A Class A CDL is highly desired
- Availability to Work: Be available to work 9-10 hours during peak construction season
- Ability to Take Direction: Demonstrate the ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment
- Produce Quality Work: Deliver high-quality results in an efficient manner
- Compliance with Safety Processes: Agree to comply with all safety processes and procedures
- Ability to Operate Specialized Equipment: Safely and effectively operate specialized safety equipment
- Physical Demands: Meet the standard weight lifting requirements (50 pounds) and be capable of working in a physically demanding environment
- Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
Travel Requirements
This position requires 25% travel, which includes overnight travel possibly up to two weeks at a time.
