Job Summary

Homestead Home Health Care Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering genuine relationships and promoting a sense of belonging.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including light housekeeping and infection control procedures.
  • Report any changes in the resident's condition to the supervisor and communicate effectively with families, support services, and coworkers.
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including regulations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including administrative tasks and team collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working with the elderly preferred.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Every other weekend is required.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license or ID.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on time management and punctuality.
