Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a 2nd shift caregiver to join our team at Prestige Way Senior Care Facility in Holt, MI. As a caregiver, you will have the unique chance to provide both physical and emotional support to our residents, while forming genuine connections with them.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
  • Engage residents in activities and encourage involvement within the community
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the environment, including light housekeeping
  • Assess for changes in condition and communicate immediately to supervisor
  • Complete all required documents and charting
  • Communicate professionally with families, support services, and coworkers
  • Assist other team members with their duties
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
  • Serious applicants only
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with the elderly, preferred
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Every other weekend is required
  • A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift
