We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wilson Medical Center. As a Nursing Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and advocating for patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Participate in patient and family teaching, ensuring patients and their families are informed and empowered to make informed decisions about their care
- Act as a patient and family advocate, promoting patient-centered care and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Collaborate with other nursing and ancillary personnel to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice
- Graduation from a Nursing Education program and current NC or multistate RN licensure
- Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- BLS certification required and provided, or obtained during first week of hire
- NRP certification required or must be obtained within 12 months from date of hire
