CNC Machinist Job Summary

Prince Industries LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Carol Stream, IL. As a CNC Machinist, you will operate CNC machinery, secondary equipment, and grinders to create metallic and nonmetallic workpieces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
  • Set up and adjust machine tools to maintain proper sizes and tolerances
  • Verify conformance of workpieces to specifications using measuring instruments
  • Perform daily preventative machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to meet production needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in CNC machining
  • Ability to quickly use control panels to perform offsets and edits
  • Tolerance for machining parts to +/- 0.0005" for diameter and +/- 0.001" for length
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T blueprints
