Job Overview

As a Security Personnel at DK Security, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at various event venues. Our company is recognized as one of Michigan's leading security firms, established in 1995, with a commitment to professionalism and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Surveillance Monitoring: Oversee CCTV systems to identify and address safety and security issues throughout the venue.
  • Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of both the interior and exterior areas, ensuring a secure environment and identifying any potential safety concerns.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with a diverse range of individuals including colleagues, clients, vendors, celebrities, law enforcement, and the general public, providing assistance and information as needed.
  • Event Assistance: Support the security team during various events, including concerts and sporting activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Work Schedule

Available shifts include:

  • 2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM / 4 PM - Midnight
  • 3rd Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM / Midnight - 8 AM

We offer both part-time and full-time employment opportunities based on your availability.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay rate is set at $14.00 per hour, with potential for future increases. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and paid medical leave, subject to eligibility requirements.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Have no felony convictions and be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Successfully complete a drug test upon hire and comply with random testing thereafter.
  • Exhibit a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor.
  • Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be able to:

  • Stand, sit, or walk for the duration of the shift, including traversing long distances and stairs.
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations.

This position reports to the Site Supervisor and is categorized as part-time.
