Key Responsibilities- Provide telephone consultation services to individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementia.
- Utilize Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) techniques to assess, enable, and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their care.
- Link individuals to education, support, and local community resources to enhance their quality of life.
- Document call interactions, including presenting issues, interventions, and action plans.
- Handle high-emotion situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Develop and implement data-informed community impact plans to expand support group and early-stage programming.
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteers to deliver and grow programs in designated markets.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
- 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Ability to utilize SFBT techniques and other clinical modalities.
- Experienced clinical/counseling skills in listening, assessment, empathy, collaboration, goal setting, and action plans.
- Strong general computer skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, mental health, aging, and disability services.
