Role of Director of Clinical Services
We are in search of a full-time Director of Clinical Services who will oversee the operations of the Clinical Services Department, ensuring high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role involves the development and implementation of policies and procedures, quality improvement initiatives, and the supervision of both licensed and non-licensed clinical staff. The Director will also serve as a key liaison with educational institutions and community resources, fostering partnerships that enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Clinical Services Department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, promoting professional development and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with external agencies and community partners to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Participate in regional mental health meetings to advocate for and contribute to the improvement of community mental health services.
- Utilize clinical knowledge to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a management capacity.
- Proven experience in case management and utilization review processes.
- Supervisory experience with both licensed and non-licensed clinical staff is essential.
- Licensure as an MS LCSW or MS LPC is required, along with CPR certification.
