Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic tests, such as pulmonary function studies and arterial blood gas analysis
Administer therapeutic procedures, including aerosolized medication delivery and mechanical ventilation
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
Licensure/Certification: RRT or CRT credential, with current BLS certification
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
Skills: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
