Job Title: CDL Driver

We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Transforce. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for operating an 18-wheel tractor-trailer with automatic and manual transmissions, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer with automatic and manual transmissions, adhering to federal regulations and company policies.
  • Complete daily paperwork, including freight bills, load sheets, electronic logbooks, and records of fuel purchases and mileage.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Drive in accordance with federal regulations, adhering to hours of service and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in safety meetings and attend training sessions to enhance driving skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English at a level that allows communication and comprehension of job-related information.
  • Must have knowledge of DOT regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
  • Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
