Job Summary

At Lignetics, we are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating an 18-wheel tractor-trailer and ensuring the timely delivery of goods to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate an 18-wheel tractor-trailer with automatic and manual transmissions, adhering to federal regulations and company policies.
* Complete daily paperwork, including freight bills, load sheets, and electronic logbooks, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment, adhering to company standards.
* Drive in accordance with federal regulations, typically for periods of up to 11 hours, followed by an off-duty period of at least ten consecutive hours.
* Attend and participate in safety meetings, staying up-to-date on company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

* Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
* Minimum of 1 year of previous tractor-trailer driving experience required.
* Ability to read, write, and speak English at a level that allows for effective communication and comprehension of job-related information.
* Knowledge of DOT regulations and Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
* Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
