Job Title: Medical Waste Route Driver

As a Medical Waste Route Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' waste is collected and disposed of in accordance with all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate collection of medical waste.
  • Transport waste from customer locations to transfer or processing facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of collection and disposal activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.


Requirements:

  • 6+ months of experience in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
  • Valid standard driver's license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a valid Medical Examiner Card (MED).
  • Stericycle welcomes non-native English speakers, as long as drivers can read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals.
