">Prowers Medical Center seeks a skilled Surgical Instrument Specialist to join our surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.
">Job Description:
">We are looking for a highly experienced and certified Surgical Technician to work as part of our surgical team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field and be registered with the State of Colorado.
">In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to surgeons, nurses, and anesthetists during operations. This will include arranging supplies and instruments, maintaining accurate counts, and passing sterile supplies to the surgeon.
">You will also be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating surgical instruments after use, checking them before and after cases for proper working condition and sterility, and operating sterilizers in the Sterile Processing area.
">Requirements:
">To be considered for this position, you must have a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification and a minimum of 5 years of current experience as a Surgical Technician. You must also be registered as a Surg Tech with the State of Colorado.
">Compensation:
">The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
">About the Role:
">This is a 9-week contract position with the possibility of extension. The role will involve moderate to high stress levels due to the demands of the operating room environment.
