Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct time studies and develop work standards to improve manufacturing productivity.
  • Create and maintain Value Stream Maps and manufacturing cell layouts to optimize production flow.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Lead projects to improve production efficiency and throughput, collaborating with supervisors, factory managers, and engineers.
  • Review errors and rework to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify and execute process improvements to drive safety, workplace ergonomics, and performance.
  • Capacity Planning: Analyze production capacity and recommend adjustments to meet demand fluctuations.
  • Resource Allocation: Optimize staffing levels, equipment utilization, and resource allocation to align with production goals.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or equivalent engineering field.
  • 2+ years of engineering experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence attitudes and behaviors.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, solve technical problems, lead projects, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Tools (Value Stream Mapping, One Piece Flow, Problem Solving Tools, Setup Reduction, Lean Management, Visual Controls, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of 2D/3D layout in AutoCAD, SolidEdge, Solid works.
  • Advanced-level MS Office skills (primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
  • Analytics (SQL, Python).
  • Scale manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, perform, and implement mathematical concepts of Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or relevant equivalencies.
