Position Overview:

The Healthcare Access Coordinator plays a vital role within the healthcare system, ensuring exceptional customer service while facilitating efficient patient flow and accurately capturing essential information.

  • Thoroughly review and explain all necessary documentation, obtaining required signatures for services rendered.
  • Guarantee precision and completeness in gathering and documenting patient demographic and insurance details, utilizing available technology for registration tasks.
  • Contribute to a positive atmosphere that promotes satisfaction for both patients and colleagues.
  • Report any identified safety concerns, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.

Qualifications:

Required:
- High School Diploma

Preferred:
- Experience in customer service
- Background in patient access
- Knowledge of registration processes, billing regulations, and state programs
- Familiarity with medical terminology and proficiency in computer skills

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional holiday shifts.

Essential Duties:
- Responsible for collecting co-payments, issuing receipts, and reconciling daily cash within the Patient Financial Services Department.

The initial interview for this position will be conducted digitally through a designated platform. Candidates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the hiring process and digital interview format.
