Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Aide/Housekeeper to join our team at LCS Facility Group in Hyde Park, NY. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting of bathrooms and other areas.
  • Remove garbage and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with steam and carpet cleaning, and other special projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Participate in on-call schedule for weekend coverage and be flexible with overtime as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in housekeeping or a related field (training provided).
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED).
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
