Cardiovascular Technologist Specialist

MEDSTAR HEALTH seeks a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to assist with invasive cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
Salary RangeThe estimated salary for this position is between $38,480 and $62,520 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Perform quality control functions of X-ray console/equipment, running tapes and processing films as needed
- Record and interpret hemodynamic data using Marquette monitors
- Participate in training and in-services for cardiovascular technologists and other staff
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum six months' experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist; RCIS, RCVT, or PRT certification desired
- Appropriate IV insertion and EKG training
