Local Intermodal Truck Driver Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Local Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team. As a Local Intermodal Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis. You will drive in and out of railyards within Washington, with 99% no-touch freight that is 80% drop-and-hook.

**Responsibilities:**

* Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis
* Drive in and out of railyards within Washington
* 99% no-touch freight that is 80% drop-and-hook

**Requirements:**

* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
* Drivers on this account are required to drive at night
* Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred
* Live within 30 miles of Kent, WA
* Minimum 6 months of Class A driving experience

* Wage Scale: Hourly pay of $15 for all on-duty hours (Line 3 and Line 4 time) in addition to between $27 and $37 for each assigned shipment you complete (specific Shipment Pay rate depends on experience)
