University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CT principles and practices, as well as excellent patient care skills.
Key Responsibilities- Execute CT imaging procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Apply knowledge of CT principles and practices to ensure high-quality images.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and appropriate work environment.
- Document patient care activity in electronic health records systems.
- Participate in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education or Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R).
- Licensed Radiographer - State of Maryland.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in health sciences or a related field.
- Experience in CT.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (CT).
