About the Role

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the CEO, Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounting, payroll, and banking activities.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to ensure the effective delivery of financial services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, or MBA.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in senior financial management of nonprofit organizations.
  • Skills: Strong financial planning and analysis skills, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: $206,000 per year.
