We are in search of a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to fill the role of Weatherization Technician. Individuals with hands-on experience in HVAC, installation, or related fields will be strongly considered. Relevant experience may also include technical school training. In this position, you will be responsible for arriving punctually for scheduled appointments, executing all necessary installations for specific programs (such as weatherstripping, smart thermostats, low-flow showerheads, and inspecting appliances like water heaters and furnaces), and providing a warm and friendly greeting to each customer. Our weatherization technicians play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and educating clients on energy-saving practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn while utilizing tools and equipment.
  • Install all available measures for customers during home visits.
  • Verify that all installations are functioning correctly before leaving the customer's residence.
  • Respond to service calls as directed by the service call department.
  • Participate in company meetings as required.
  • Maintain responsibility for company equipment and vehicle.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Be open to offering additional upgrades to customers.
  • Educate customers on energy-saving measures.
  • Ensure punctuality for scheduled appointments and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Previous experience as an installer or completion of a technical college program is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with hands.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and power tools.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
