Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough patient assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Implementation and Evaluation: Implement care plans, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, and evaluate patient progress to ensure effective care delivery.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document medication administration accurately.
- Education and Communication: Provide patient education, communicate effectively with patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Leadership and Teamwork: Demonstrate leadership skills, delegate tasks effectively, and work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- License and Certification: Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
- Experience: 2-3 years Operating room experience required.
