As a Financial Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

About the Job

This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $25 per hour. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the organization's payable and receivable financials, preparing financial reports, and providing financial analysis and recommendations to management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage accounts payable function, including proper approval and supporting documents for invoice payment requests
  2. Record receipts into the general ledger and support the reconciliation of receipts relating to Shop sales, Membership payments, Community Programs registration, and fund development events
  3. Assist in quarterly sales tax filing, create and manage bank deposits as needed, record recurring journal entries, and prepare general ledger account reconciliations
  4. Maintain historical records and assist with the annual audit via schedules and supporting documentation

You will work under the general supervision of the Accountant and will have excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. You will also possess excellent computer capabilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.
