Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering and coordinating quality patient care in compliance with physician orders. This includes observing and assessing patient condition and care needs, documenting all activities and assessments, and participating in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
Responsibilities:- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs.
- Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner.
- Participate in the development and implementation of the nursing care plan.
- Accept responsibility for personal and professional accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
- Continuing Education as required by state.
- Six (6) months of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting.
- Home health experience.
- Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.
- Must be able to climb stairs and lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to travel.
