Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Focus: Develop relationships with customers and deliver operational consistency.
- Air Conditioning Service: Perform air conditioning evacuation and recharge services.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical repairs using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Estimating and Invoicing: Understand and complete estimating, invoicing, part identification, pre and post quality control checklists.
- Technical Communication: Explain technical diagnoses and repair planning needs to shop personnel, insurance adjusters, and customers.
- Utilization of Resources: Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and virtual support team resources to make effective recommendations.
- Test Drives: Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed.
- Quality Control: Check all parts for quality and accuracy before installing.
- Training and Certifications: Complete assigned training and certifications, including continuing education courses.
- Communication and Organization: Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity, and maintain a well-organized work area.
- Inventory Management: Accountable for assigned inventory, including laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, and other equipment provided.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values.
- Minimum 3 Years Automotive Repair Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive repair.
- Trade School Experience: Trade school experience a plus.
- ASE or I-CAR Certifications: ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus.
- Diagnostic Scan Tools and Factory Software: Knowledge of diagnostic scan tools and factory software.
- AC Certification and Safety Standards: Obtain AC certification and follow safety standards.
- Customer Service and Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Computer and Mobile Device Skills: Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently.
- Self-Motivation and Positive Attitude: Self-motivated, positive attitude, with a customer-focused vision.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Driver's License and MVR Check: Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a background check.
- Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently.
- Travel Requirements: Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training.
- Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping.
- Driving Requirements: Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles.
- Exposure to Environmental Factors: May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather.
- Personal Protective Equipment: Required to wear PPE, including facial covering, eye protection, and gloves.
