Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Designer to join our expanding team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for creating precise, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify factors affecting project design and collaborate with the engineering team to develop reliable products.
  • Develop designs using knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, and confer with other departments to ensure integrity and manufacturability.
  • Prepare drawings and resolve associated mechanical and fabrication problems.
  • Participate in designing special modifications to existing parts.
  • Create and edit drawings using current AutoCAD and Inventor software.
  • Forward drawings to the engineer for preliminary review and approval.
  • Ensure accuracy of work by checking dimensions, materials, and relation of parts to the entire project.
  • Understand established standards and suggest improvements when possible.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience required.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks preferred.
