Cyber Security Project Manager

CyberTec is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Project Manager to lead technology projects within our Information Security department. As a key member of our PMO, you will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on schedule and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct technical leads and project team members, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project documents, including project charters, management plans, requirements documents, and test plans.
  • Produce weekly program status reports and hold project status meetings as necessary.
  • Manage project schedules using MS Enterprise Project Management (EPM) and MS Project Professional 2010.
  • Report schedule and budget variances, and ensure quality and well-maintained project schedules and estimates.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and report on ongoing issues and changes.
  • Create and publish weekly status reports of activities, accomplishments, issues, and actions to resolve issues.
Deliverables:
  • Deliver programs and projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Present projects at Quality Checkpoints and Department Level Project Reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
  • At least ten years' experience in program and project management, with significant hands-on experience using formal project management methodologies and processes.
  • At least ten years' experience in technology management, analysis, and administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders, and to express and protect departmental interests.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills and to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, and using MS Project Office Professional and MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project Server (EPM), Ariba on Demand, etc.
  • Certifications - PMP, CSM, SAFe 5.5/6 related.
Preferred:
  • At least five years' experience with project management of Information Security related projects.
  • At least five years' experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project Server (EPM), etc.
  • Certifications: PMP and InfoSec - Security+, SSCP and/or CISSP.
