We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at ICP Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all mechanical and electrical maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our plants.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coordination: Under the direction of the Plant Manager, you will coordinate and guide all maintenance activities from start to finish, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintenance Operations: You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment, including pumps, motors, conveyors, filler lines, and other devices required to maintain production uptime.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: You will conduct, develop, and maintain records for installation, removal, and troubleshooting of systems, including pumps, piping, valves, pneumatics, motor starters, wiring logic, and other equipment.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: You will troubleshoot equipment issues and provide management with a repair solution, including parts lists and timelines.
- Electrical and Electronic Maintenance: You will perform electrical maintenance, including wiring motors, VFDs, control panels, and other lower-voltage items, as well as troubleshoot PLC logic or hardware issues associated with automated process equipment.
- Shop Maintenance and Organization: You will maintain the maintenance shop in a clean, organized, and professional condition, following all safety requirements for hazardous materials.
- Communication and Teamwork: You will maintain effective and positive communication with production staff, keep supervisors and management aware of pending issues and status of installation or repair, and coordinate preventative maintenance tasks on key plant equipment.
- Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, with a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or lead mechanic role.
- Education and Training: Advanced education or training in engineering, mechanics, or a related field, and experience with communication and building strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving aptitude, ability to work overtime, on-call, and weekends as required, and ability to safely lift in excess of 70 pounds without difficulty.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights in excess of 40 feet without concern, and ability to interact with all levels of plant personnel in a positive and productive way.
