Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Fisheries Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our fisheries team, you'll be responsible for leading engineering design tasks, developing plans and specifications, and collaborating with clients to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of plans and specifications for fish hatcheries and aquaculture facilities
  • Design and develop water supply, drainage, and treatment systems
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
  • 10 years of experience in fisheries engineering design
  • PE licensure
  • Experience in developing plans and specifications for bidding and construction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
  • NCEES registration
  • Extensive experience in fish hatchery and aquaculture facility design
  • Experience with bio-security, bio-programming, and RAS/PRAS
